Some of you already know I’ve been working on a novel for a while now — it’s called HTX, and it’s messy and emotional and very close to my heart.
This week, I finally started sharing little pieces of it over on Instagram — quotes, moments, and glimpses into the world of Emily, Bobby, and the version of Houston that shaped them. It’s vulnerable in that way where I almost didn’t hit “post.” But it also feels like the right time.
HTX follows a woman who moves to Houston in the wake of heartbreak, looking for a fresh start and finding herself tangled in something far more complicated — curated lives, toxic charm, and the slow unraveling of identity. It’s about addiction, desire, friendship, emotional wreckage, and what it means to walk away before you lose yourself completely.
It’s not a perfect story. But it’s honest. And it matters to me.
I’ll be sharing more sneak peeks, reflections, and behind-the-scenes bits as I get closer to publishing. If you’re into emotionally messy stories, starting over, or just rooting for someone trying to figure it all out — I’d love to have you along for the ride.
